I am starting to study tomorrow.
I appreciate the determination! But studying three months before the bar exam may not be a good idea for everyone. What do I mean by this?
If you received bad bar exam news, we are so sorry! We hope these tips will help set you up for future bar exam success.
One of the first things to do is to identify what went wrong. I have been getting emails recently from students who have been struggling with this step in the process, so I wanted to share some additional tips.
This weekend the California bar exam results were released. We don’t have all of the numbers yet, but many people (thousands, actually) were disappointed when their name didn’t appear on the pass list. Some students are still grieving. Some are getting ready to prepare again. But after speaking with students coping with a failure, one doubt seems to come up in their minds:
What if this means I am not going to be a good lawyer?
Make sure all your admission paperwork is together. I have discussed before that you don’t want to leave this to the preparation period. Get everything submitted within plenty of time so this doesn’t delay the admission process.
